Salt Lake City, UT (August 20, 2026)—Strider Technologies, Inc. (“Strider”), the leading provider of strategic intelligence, today announced that Aaron Skonnard, co-founder and former CEO of Pluralsight, is joining its Board of Directors. Skonnard joins Strider's Board of Directors as the company continues its rapid global growth and investment in AI-powered strategic intelligence capabilities that enable industry, governments, and academia to identify, assess, and respond to geopolitical risks.
A respected entrepreneur, technology executive, and investor, Skonnard brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling global software businesses. He is widely recognized for his leadership in Utah's technology ecosystem and his commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
"Organizations need real-time, trusted intelligence to make confident, strategic decisions as they face increasingly complex geopolitical and technological risks," said Greg Levesque, CEO and Co-founder of Strider. "Aaron has built one of the most successful enterprise software companies of the last two decades and understands what it takes to innovate, scale, and compete globally. His experience, strategic perspective, and passion for strengthening the innovation ecosystem will be invaluable as Strider continues to expand our platform and help leaders protect their innovation and critical assets.”
“Strider is tackling a problem more organizations are waking up to every day: protecting the technology, talent, and supply chains that drive their competitiveness,” said Skonnard. "Strider is a category creator with a platform at the intersection of artificial intelligence, economic security, and strategic intelligence, helping leaders make better decisions in an increasingly complex world. I'm honored to join the Board and look forward to supporting Greg, the leadership team, and the entire organization as they continue to scale their impact and advance Strider's mission."
Skonnard co-founded Pluralsight in 2004 and served as CEO for nearly two decades, growing the company from a technical training business into a global technology skills platform used by roughly 70 percent of Fortune 500 companies. Under his leadership, Pluralsight completed an initial public offering on the Nasdaq in 2018 and was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2021 for $3.8 billion. Skonnard stepped down as CEO in 2024 and continues to serve on the Pluralsight One advisory board.
Skonnard is a founding board member of Silicon Slopes, Utah’s startup and technology community organization, and serves on the Utah System of Higher Education Board of Higher Ed. He has invested in and advised numerous technology companies and was inducted into the Utah Technology Council Hall of Fame in 2017.
